A language beyond
There is a language beyond words There is something we both know Way beyond speaking or language barriers If you meet me there I will tell you How much I love you Adore you Acknowledge you For the gift you are to me And to the world Whether it knows it or not What greatness have you set in motion What realities have you instigated That will blossom A thousand years from now They will not know it was you But I will I will look at the world with marvel and Gratitude My heart will fill with grace and my eyes with tears When my wordless whisper reaches you Beyond time And say It was you - do you now see What a gift you be?

This is a rather beautiful poem, with a beautiful, colourful illustration to go with it.
Lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about the many blessings we are given each day - including those friendships and relationships that have remained constant in our lives - and feeling immense gratitude to God for having them there.
Now, your poem resonates with many of my thoughts, and I particularly like verse 4. Well done, Johanna!
They will not know it was you
But I will
I will look at the world with marvel and Gratitude
My heart will fill with grace and my eyes with tears
So perfectly lovely.
